April Vase XXL
Created in 1991, the Vase d'Avril is now considered a classic. The Musée d'Art Moderne Georges Pompidou considered this vase to be a marker of its time and included it in its permanent design collection in 1997.
The Vase d'Avril gives everyone the pleasure of successful compositions. A few flowers are enough to fill it. After removing a tube from one of the ends, you can bring them together and close the vase in a loop. The pieces can be made independent again: simply pull one of the tubes upwards to split the vase into separate segments.
The Vase d'Avril XXL is designed for larger flowers and even branches with its 12 large test tubes. Inspired by Japanese ikebana, it isolates each flower in a tube to better highlight it.
This vase is also variable geometry: it adapts to the flowers it houses and to the supports that hold it. The vase and the flowers can therefore be positioned according to the bouquets and desires.
Vase d'Avril XXL made in France, composed of 12 tubes, height 18 cm, Ø 5 cm, total length 69 cm.
The Vase d'Avril XXL comes with a spare tube.
The zinc that protects the metal parts of the vase is already slightly oxidised. When it comes into contact with water, it becomes matt, and is decorated with a light white rust similar to frost.
The tubes can be washed with a brush (and possibly white vinegar for limescale), or they can be dismantled and put in the dishwasher, but the metal parts must NOT be put in the washing machine
Tsé & Tsé associés is a French design house, founded by two Parisian designers, Sigolène Prébois and Catherine Lévy. The choice of noble materials favours craftsmanship, quality and durability of the objects. No two pieces are exactly alike, these differences are the sign of the brand's originality. The two designers first designed these objects for themselves, to live with in their homes, as a daily luxury.
